TerranWarsloop

The Navy uses this quick and maneuverable attack vessel primarily as a scout, messenger, and customs ship. With its limited firepower and fragile structure, the sloop must depend on its speed and work closely with other ships in combat. The Warsloop is well suited for rescue operations.

Overview[]

The Imperial Navy's Sloop. Its weapons are configured in a similar manner to the Pirate Sloop, but with more medium sized weapons, which make it better at long range, but worse at close range. It is, however, nowhere near as cost efficient as the Pirate version.

Cons[]

Battle Strategy[]

This ship has Medium Cannons as its main source of firepower, if you are against ships with lighter cannons, such as the Pirate Sloop, then you should make use of your greater range, and avoid their lower cooldown and higher damage per second. If you don't want to board anyone, which you probably don't with this ship, consider replacing the Harpoon Gun with a Light Lancer, which can help deal with sails as well as some hull damage. Due to it being very cost inefficient, it is never a good idea to use it in Open Skirmishes.

Counter-Tactics[]

It hasn't got any blatant weaknesses when fighting it other than lacking any stern weapons. Its weakness is its low-cost efficiency: if you face one in an Open Skirmish, you should have better units; if not, then get behind it whenever possible, and avoid the broadside.
