The Diablo Strait is a fully customisable Open Skirmish, allowing between 2 and 8 players to participate. The objective of The Diablo Strait is to sink all hostile ships. The Diablo Strait contains many volcanic islands and some asteroids as hazards, and a vertical current flowing north in the centre of the map. An effective tactic on this map against enemies with Torpedoes is to ensure that your ships are on the opposite side of the current your enemies are at, as Torpedoes are affected by the current's flow.
Map Description[]
This dangerous volcanic region is split by the Stygian Etherium Current. Battling fleets can use the current to their advantage, but have to be careful not to be blasted to smithereens by volcanic rocks.
Geography[]
The Diablo Strait is a long, thin map, with the Stygian Current splitting the map across the centre, volcanic islands on both sides of the current and asteroids at the outermost parts of the map. The Stygian Current flows north, which allows for fast transport and escapes in that direction.
