Oxy and Moron were the two of John Silver's Pirate Crew in Treasure Planet. Oxy's an head-like cephalopod pirate, while Moron's an faced humanoid torso pirate, They join to find treasure.
They were the two of five remaining survivors, along with Onus, Birdbrain Mary and Meltdown who soon later arrested after the mutiny.

During the film production, when it somewhat comes to the pirate crew, Oxy and Moron is the two of the characters created and only designed by Ellen Woodbury.

Oxy: According to "A Voyage of Discovery" itself, Oxy is shown to be smart and was able to do easily but sometimes a coward whatever it have happened,
Moron: According to "A Voyage of Discovery" itself, Moron isn't so bright, meaning that he is very dumb and a coward whatever it have happened

Both Oxy and Moron has same pinkish skin color, They originated from the same planet.
Oxy: He is an grayish-pink head-like cephalopod with a face resembling that of human's, having tentacles as his arms, legs, and hair, and wore a dark bluish bandana.
Moron: He is an grayish-pink faced humanoid torso with a face to the torse, having two each fingers on both of his hands. As his eyes are placed at the top torso as well the mouth placed to the stomach, wore a pair of reddish-brown pants with blackish belt and black shoes.

The brothers were first seen at the ship in preparing for the RLS Legacy's launching as both riggers along with other riggers, who all of them were actually secretly as pirates, describing as "ludicrous parcel of driveling galoots".
Oxy and Moron both gives Jim a disrespectful comment about what Jim looking at them for while both of them were talking with Meltdown and Onus.
The pair soon later meeting up with the others about almost blowing up the mutiny plan, which makes Silver so furious and he makes them sure that all of them need to stick the plan as a hired understanding crew.
During the voyage, the ship encounters a supernova. While securing lifelines of all pirates so that they will not get lost, Jim saves Silver from falling just in time.
The supernova then devolves into a black hole, where Arrow falls to his death. The burst of shock waves and maximum engine power enable Amelia to pilot the ship to safety. Amelia mourns the loss of Arrow, and suspects Jim of failing to secure the lifelines, while Arrow's line was actually cut by Scroop.
Meanwhile, Oxy, Moron and the pirates corner the group here; using a back door, Jim, B.E.N., and Morph return to the ship in an attempt to recover the map. Both Oxy and Moron were the two of the only few pirates to survive during their mutiny, as they both are arrested by Captain Amelia and Dr. Delbert Doppler for their crimes alongside the remaining crew.
Despite their arrests, They were last seen cheering along with the rest of the crew for Jim for saving them from the exploding planet.

- Their names, Oxy and Moron was like a splitted in two names as their names was so far into together be form as "Oxymoron".
- From "A Voyage of Discovery", Oxy in the character sheet and framing shots, Oxy has suckers around his tentacles, but in the film, he doesn't have any of those suckers on tentacles, mostly due to possible animation friendly to animate.
- Moron's species is based off and similar to the Blemmyes, a western mythological creatures that existed in the 3rd century BC to the 8th century AD.
- Moron only appeared in PS1 video game but Oxy isn't.
- Both Oxy and Moron are shown in Treasure Planet: A Voyage of Discovery, as two of the riggers along with Dogbreath, Birdbrain Mary, Greedy, Mackriki.
