Outpost Gorshin came under attack from the Ironclad Dreadnought, Obliteration, which then escaped into the Etherium. The nearby 350th Pursuit Flotilla followed the Ironclad Raider until a Frigate Squadron sent from Outpost Galdrin was able to intercept. Eventually catching up to Obliteration near Wayward Isle and Sentinel Isle. However, all Royal Navy ships were sunk in the ensuring fight and the Ironclad managed to escape.

- The files of Iron War contain a map string for Outpost Gorshin, despite it not appearing in the game. Meaning the developers might have originally intended for Outpost Gorshin to appear in Iron War's map.
