The Orcus Galacticus is a species of Space Whale that migrates across the Etherium in large pods. They feed on small creatures they filter from the Etherium. They are gentle, friendly creatures. Sighting them is considered a sign of good luck.

- Despite Orcus Galacticus' rather baleen whale-like appearance, "Orcus", which means a god of the underworld in Etruscan and Roman mythology, is the scientific name of Orca or Killer whale.
- Despite being called whale, Orcus Galacticus has a pair of antennas near mouth and a vertical tail membrane instead of a horizontal fluke.
