Battle Strategy[]

The Cutter has mainly Medium Cannons as its firepower, as well as a Heavy Cannon. If you're against ships with mainly lighter guns, then make use of this by staying at long range. While the heavy mount at the front is useful as a Cannon, it can be more impactful as an Arcturian Fire Launcher for blowing sails away, or a Star Mortar to turn it into an artillery ship. Due to the Cutter's low cost and decent number of point-defense Lancers, it is a very cost-effective Minesweeper.

Counter-Tactics[]

The best way to reduce the Cutter's mobility is an Energy Net, as it is quite hard to destroy all its sails usually. Other than that, try to stay behind it as it has much less firepower there. Torpedoes and Mines are going to be less effective as it has point defense.
