Hugh Mansfield is a Royal Navy Commander, working as the Administrator of Waystation Grant. Hugh Mansfield appears at the start of Mission 5.
Battle at Procyon[]
When Jim Hawkins arrived at Waystation Grant, Hugh Mansfield informed Hawkins that the Admiralty had promoted him to Captain, and that he has been assigned the Cutter, RLS Superior, as his new command ship. Hugh Mansfield stated that since most of the Royal Navy were assigned to the Frontier to defend it from the Ironclad Raiders, Hawkins would have to be twice as vigilant in protecting the home sectors. Mansfield then briefed Captain Hawkins on his next mission, which involved patrolling the Arrowhead and Tabrak Islands, as well as delivering supplies to Alamein. Captain Hawkins then prepared his crew, and set a course for Alamein.

- Hugh Mansfield is available for hire as a crew member starting from Mission 9, although this is probably non-canon as it is unlikely for him to leave his post at Waystation Grant to join Hawkins' crew.
