Flatulans are a snail-like race of aliens, it is a very well-known of his species. It is a very easy language to speak and it has been shown that Dr. Delbert Doppler, a Canid, can speak also speak this language. It is an odd language that is mostly spoken in all kinds of noises and pitches of flatulent sounds. This language was mostly used by Snuff even if he was sleeping, cheering, or speaking just like we do, except with noises.

"Pffff, pfffff, pfffffffffff." = Watch it pal (found at the beginning of Treasure Planet when Jim accidentally ran to him).
"Pffftt, pffft, pffffffft." (with blowing cheek noises, sticking out tongue, and armpit noises) = A joke.
"Pfffrft, pwwwfft, pwt." = Oh, how funny (after Dr. Delbert Doppler told Mr. Snuff a Joke, Snuff replied back).
"Pfff, pfff, pfff, pfff." = A noise used similar to snores.
After they escaped from the star Pellucidar becoming a black hole, there is a noise found from Mr. Snuff spoken Flatula that along with the aliens that he was cheering in Flatula that sounds similar to the phrase "hooray".

- Flatula is so far the only other language besides the main language that has been used and shown in Treasure Planet. As Dr. Delbert Doppler and Mr. Snuff were the only two aliens which can speak this language.
- Flatula has been shown to be a very easy language since after Dr. Delbert Doppler has shown the RLS Legacy to Jim Hawkins when he arrived at Montressor Spaceport. It also reveals that Dr. Doppler was able to speak the language very easily by doing all kind of flatulent noises to Flatula.
- The name Flatula means the Language of Flatulence, which also means farting.
- Slightly in the Beginning of Treasure Planet, shortly after arriving to Montressor Spaceport, Dr. Doppler has revealed that he had took two years of Flatula in High School, meaning that he is great learner of Flatula.
- Flatula is the only language, other than English, that has been shown in Treasure Planet.
- In one scene of Treasure Planet, when Jim Hawkins was sleeping in his hammock bed under Mr. Snuff's bed, he was barely disgusted by the sound of his snore. This is a reference that Flatula is not an attractive language and will rather do the opposite to anyone who speaks Flatula.
