Battle at Procyon[]
Mission 10[]
Devastator, along with Hunter, were the two Ironclads that attacked the Arcturian Convoy, shortly after the Pirates unsuccessfully tried to raid the Arcturian Merchant Ships carring weapons in the convoy. When the Ironclads attempted to raid the convoy they were met with resistance from Captain Hawkins' Frigate, RLS St. Roch and its accompanying fleet. Devastator ignored Hawkins' fleet and headed straight for the convoy, whilst Hunter fought Hawkins' fleet and was sunk in the ensuring fight. When the Devastator reached the convoy it rammed into the Cargo Ship, SS Spirit of the West, the resulting collision completly destroyed the SS Spirit of the West, as well as stunning the Devastator's crew from the impact, immobilising the Devastator, this gave the RLS St. Roch an opportunity to catch up and board the Devastator. Whist boarding the Devastator, Jim Hawkins discovered that the crew were Procyons. Despite being stunned the Devastator's crew still resisted the Royal Naval Personnel and Marines boarding attempt, but they were eventually overrun, with Jim Hawkins personally disarming the Devastator's captain after cornering him. After finding out that the Ironclads were Procyon ships, Jim Hawkins realised that the Ironclad attacks were a false flag operation, intending to draw the majority of the Royal Navy's ships to the frontier, so that the Procyons could easily assassinate the Terran Queen during the peace treaty.
Mission 11[]
After Jim Hawkins finished interrogating the Devastator's crew, the RLS St. Roch towed the Devastator to Cydonia Shipyard, explaining to Admiral Hoyt the true purpose behind the Ironclads. When Admiral Hoyt heard this he promoted Jim Hawkins to Commodore and assigned the Man of War, RLS Victory to Hawkins.
